Furniture Sports

Ellaiden has taught herself how to climb into Jenny's new chair by using the arm on the side. She then rocks back and forth violently and mirthfully. Then she falls. She wasn't hurt though and didn't even cry. Tough kid.

Play Time With Dada

NO MO PUMP-KINS

Well, we figured out that only gourds lay in our "pumpkin patch" so we gave up on them. It has been so hot and no rain and it is a pain to get the hose out there so we have just let them bite the dust. Ellaiden had a good time getting really dirty help us clean up the backyard!

Where have we been?

Our computer crashed and then we had to send it away to get it fixed. That seemed to take FOREVER but we did manage to save all our pics which of course is a blessing! I had about 20 new ones that I did the work on to put them on blogger and then just today they disappeard so I will have to go back and get them ready again.

In other news. We finally got the house painted and are ready for our final inspections with our additions! Yeah! Pray it all passes! I'll put a pic up of it soon.

I have 3 and 1/2 weeks left until little Soren is supposed to arrive. I have it in my mind that she will be early so if she is not I am sure NO ONE will want to be around me that last week. We won't even talk about her being late! Of course we aren't quite ready....I really need to make Chris get the carseat out of the attic, etc...

Ellaiden has had lots going on in her little life. She spent a whole week with her Gram and Grandpa and didn't seem to miss us at all. She was thoroughly entertained by the whole family. Since she came home she has been a little terror but we are working on that. It is amazing how a mother can close her ears up and just walk away from a little two foot screamer...but I do think it is beginning to work. She is learning new things each day. She hasn't started talking very much, but yesterday Chris and I were pretty sure she said belly button when she stuck her finger in mine (not hard to find as big as I am). This morning she said something very close to MiMi when my mom was talking to her on the phone.

She has also learned how to hide in the hall closet when it is time for me to change her pants. She isn't a big fan of getting a new diaper. She is a big fan of telling people how to do their job though (NO, she didn't get that from me...well....). They came to work on our air conditioner this morning and she led the AC guy into our bedroom and pointed at the grate on the ceiling and started talking to him like he could understand what she was thinking. The nice man just smiled and nodded back at her and then fixed it.

Chris- well, Chris is just putting up with us and all our crazyness right now. Oh, yeah like it is all going to get better when Soren arrives. Wake up call anyone!!! Why would we even think life will calm down once our new one arrives. But, hey at least I will be able to get my shorts on without having to prepare and recover from the task!
