Ice Storm 07

That is what Texas is calling it! It is actually a pretty layer out there. Chris has been out of work since all week and I think he is praying he goes back tomorrow. A little too much wife 'n child. Part of our problem is that he has spoiled little miss thang and now she thinks he should play with her or carry her around ALL the time. Most of the time I'm not good enough--it has to be dad. So, you know I am going to love tomorrow if Chris goes back to work. Actually, it has been fun to see Ellaiden respond to us more and more. One of the new things we learned yesterday is that she likes to drink her milk out of a big person cup. She refuses the bottle and doesn't really like a sippy cup that much so I guess she is just beyond her years :) Tonight she refused to eat her food and only wanted to drink out of her new cup. Here are some "wintery" pics for everyone.

Prettied Up

Ellaiden had her 9 month doctor's appointment yesterday. She is 15 lbs. and 9 oz. and something over 25 inches in height. She is in the 10th percentile which means she is just a little nothin. She is spending much of her time crawling around the house and getting in trouble. Her new favorite activity is rolling over and crawling off the changing table. She also likes to swing REALLY high. She has learned how to do it on her own and it is something to watch!

This is what happened when Chris and I quit paying attention for a few minutes. We aren't sure how she got in there, but there were big tears when it was time to get out.
