Baby, Wear my Headphones
We journeyed to North Carolina by aeroplane this week to celebrate the Womb Escape of Baby Jesus with Jenny's family. Jenny's flown with Ellaiden twice before. Thursday was my first time to fly with my beautiful youngling.
Ninety-eight percent of the time, she was a brilliant lil' traveler (for two minutes she screamed her little lungs off as loud as she could). She slept in her sling on Jenny's lap, smiled demurely at strangers, played with the plastic cup the flight attendant gave her, and best of all, watched (whilst transfixed) her Baby Mozart dvd on my laptop and wore my headphones for the sound. She swatted the headphones off only after the movie was done, making for a full thirty minutes of contented baby!

Under the tree
What do I find under my tree this morning? A little elf with her feet up while she rips all the ornaments off my tree. Please note the lack of ornaments on the bottom and the one laying beside her. All the other missing ornaments are under the chair, in her toy box, and stuffed in her other various hiding places.

Christmas Time Is Here
Since we are going to NC for Christmas, we spent some time this past weekend with Gram and Bruce, who came down from Dallas. Ellaiden's favorite toy so far is a whale harpoon, which is a part of a whaling boat and crew that's for the bath tub (partly shown in the fourth picture down). Who would have thought it?
